Aries. The courage to begin.

The symbolic portrait

Aries belongs to the fire element and the cardinal mode. In this tradition, its ruling planet is Mars. These are ways of organising symbolic themes, rather than measurements of who you must be.

A quality to cultivate

Directness, initiative and a willingness to try. Notice when this quality feels natural and when it asks something of you. A strength is most useful when you can choose how to express it.

A pattern to notice

Urgency can turn a useful first step into a race nobody asked for. This is a question to explore, rather than a label to accept. Your history, circumstances and choices deserve more attention than a category.

Love and connection

Aries often appreciates clear invitations and a relationship with room for independent interests. Say what you want without treating a different pace as a lack of feeling.

Work and everyday direction

Beginning is a strength; finishing benefits from a smaller scope, a visible deadline and someone who can challenge the first idea. Keep momentum by choosing one meaningful priority.

A small practice

A short walk followed by a quiet pause can help distinguish an impulse from a considered intention.

What deserves a beginning, and what deserves patience?
